Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Wict Studio ("Wict Studio", "we", "us"). They apply to this website, our mobile games Cozy Duck Diner, Little Duck Pond and LowLand Roastery, LifeNovel, and any updates, content and services we provide with them (together, the "Services").

By downloading, installing, accessing or using the Services you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

If you got a game from an app store (such as Google Play), that store's terms also apply. If they conflict with these Terms on how the store works, the store's terms win.

2. Who can use the Services

• Our mobile games are suitable for a general audience. If you are under the age of majority where you live, please make sure a parent or guardian has read these Terms with you.
• LifeNovel is only for people aged 18 or over, because it can produce mature, unrestricted fiction. By using LifeNovel you confirm that you are at least 18 and that using it is legal where you live.

3. Your licence to play

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the Services for your own non-commercial entertainment, according to these Terms.

You may not:

• copy, sell, rent, sublicense or distribute the games or their content, except as the law allows;
• reverse engineer, decompile or modify the games, except where the law expressly permits it;
• use cheats, bots, exploits, modified clients or automation, or interfere with ads, purchases or free-turn limits;
• try to get unauthorized access to our systems, overload them or disrupt other players;
• use the Services to break any law or anyone's rights.

4. Accounts (LifeNovel)

LifeNovel uses Google Sign-In. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for activity under your LifeNovel account. Tell us at support@wict.id.vn if you think someone has accessed it without permission. One person may not create several accounts to get extra free turns.

5. Your content and AI-generated content (LifeNovel)

Your input. You keep any rights you have in what you write ("your input"). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process and display your input, and to send it to our AI providers, only as needed to run LifeNovel for you and to keep it safe.

AI output. Stories, characters and images produced for you ("output") are generated by AI models. As between you and us, you may use the output of your own games for any lawful purpose, including sharing it, as far as we have rights to give. Output may not be unique — other players may receive similar results — and some output may not be protected by copyright.

No guarantees about output. Output can be inaccurate, offensive, surprising or unsuitable. It is fiction, it is not advice, and it does not reflect our views. You are responsible for your input, for how you use the output, and for following our Acceptable Use Policy.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these Terms or the law.

6. Ads, credits and purchases

• Our mobile games are free to download. They show rewarded ads only when you choose to watch one; rewards are delivered as described in the game, and an ad may not always be available.
• LifeNovel offers a number of free turns, then credits and monthly plans. Prices, what a turn costs and what each plan includes are shown before you pay.
• Credits and in-game items have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money or transferred, and may only be used in the Service they were bought for. We do not offer refunds except as described in the Purchases & Refunds Policy or as required by law.
• Monthly plans run for the period shown at purchase. Cancelling stops renewal at the end of the current period.

7. Our intellectual property

The Services — including the games, characters, artwork, music, text, software, logos and the names "Wict Studio", "Cozy Duck Diner", "Quán Vịt Ấm Áp", "Little Duck Pond", "Ao Vịt Nhỏ", "LowLand Roastery" and "LifeNovel" — belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. Apart from the licence in section 3, these Terms do not give you any rights in them. Our press kit explains how media and creators may use our assets.

Videos and streams. You are welcome to stream and post videos of our games, and to monetize them on platforms such as YouTube or Twitch, as long as you do not suggest that we endorse you, and you do not sell our assets on their own.

Parody. LowLand Roastery is a work of parody. It is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by any real company or brand.

8. Changes and availability

We keep improving our games, so features, content, balance and prices may change, and a game or a feature may be paused or retired. If we permanently close LifeNovel, we will give at least 30 days' notice and explain how to export your stories and what happens to unused credits.

We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the Service or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using the Services after the change, you accept the new Terms.

9. Ending these terms

You can stop using the Services at any time and uninstall the games. You can ask us to delete your LifeNovel account — see Delete your data.

We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if the law requires it, or to protect players or the Services. Where reasonable we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

10. Disclaimers

The Services are provided for entertainment, "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that they will always be available, error-free, or that saved progress or content will never be lost. Please keep your own copies of LifeNovel stories you care about (you can export them).

Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost data, profits or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about the Services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50.

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Please contact us first at support@wict.id.vn — most problems can be solved quickly. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally within 30 days, it may be brought before the competent courts under the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring a claim there.

13. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours to a company that takes over the Services. These Terms, together with the policies they mention, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Services.

Where these Terms exist in several languages, each version is meant to say the same thing; if they differ, the English version prevails to the extent the law allows.
