The short version. LifeNovel lets adults write almost any fiction. What it does not allow is using the AI to hurt real people or to create illegal content. Fiction stays fiction.
This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It applies mainly to LifeNovel, but also to anything you send us or share about our games.
Fiction is welcome
LifeNovel is a storytelling game for adults (18+). Stories may include violence, crime, romance, horror, dark themes and morally complicated characters. Building worlds and characters, making bad choices in a story and living with the consequences are all part of the game.
Not allowed, ever
You may not use our services to create, request or share:
- any sexual content involving minors, or characters described as or appearing to be under 18 — this includes fictional and "aged-up" scenarios. We report such content to the authorities where the law requires it;
- sexual or intimate content about real, identifiable people, or content made to harass, threaten, defame or impersonate a real person;
- personal data about real people that is private or sensitive (addresses, phone numbers, health, ID numbers…);
- real-world instructions that give meaningful help to commit serious harm — for example, making weapons capable of mass casualties, attacking computer systems, or other serious crimes;
- content that promotes terrorism or violent extremism, or that encourages someone to harm themselves;
- content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights, beyond what the law allows;
- spam, malware, or attempts to attack, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the service, or to get around credits, free-turn limits or other protections.
Using what you create
The stories and images you create are fiction generated by AI. If you share them:
- do not present them as real events, real news or the real views of real people;
- do not present them as our official content;
- follow the rules of the platform where you share them.
Things to keep in mind
- AI makes mistakes. It can contradict itself, invent facts and produce content you did not expect. Nothing it writes is advice — medical, legal, financial or otherwise.
- Your wellbeing matters more than any story. If something in a story upsets you, take a break or start a new one. If you are struggling, please contact local emergency services or a crisis line in your country.
What we do about violations
We may block a request, remove content, suspend or close an account, and — where the law requires it or someone's safety is at risk — report to the authorities. Serious violations, such as anything involving minors, lead to immediate account closure without refund.
